My first day at Maysles Institute was nice, the people who work there are great! We got a lot of different tasks one included handing out flyers in the Harlem area, a nice way to explore the city.
Harlem has so much life, everyone is out on the street. People are just hanging out and talking to each other. Downtown where i live, people are so busy. Its a nice kontrast to the hecktic life a lot of people live here in New York. And its funny how much the culture can change when you take the metro 15 minutes north.
We also spend some time checking out Maysles Institute's website, and got some ideas of what they want with their site. And to catch the essence of their audience, it seemed most natural to go out on the streets and find out what their audience is all about, which we got a little taste of when we went out with the flyers.
On my way home i went down past Times Square, which is amazing at night. There's a sportsequipment store, i was looking for an Eagles hat, but unfortunatly it was sold out :O
Observed Today:
A lot... But can't come up with anything specific... Oh by the way! Yesterday in the Superbowl halftime there was the premiere of the first Trailer for Transformers 2, and everyone was clapping and the girls were screaming. heh that was fun too...
